Trey Songz Reveals He Would Take The X Factor UK Judging Role
Says "There's More Opportunity" Here Than In The US
Trey Songz has revealed that he would like to work on The X Factor.
The singer, who recently topped the US Billboard charts with his fifth album 'Chapter V' - admitted that he would prefer to work on the UK version of the show over the US edition.
Songz was asked by DigitalSpy.com if he'd consider being a judge on American Idol and he replied: "I don't know. I think I'd have to get to another point in my career before I'd feel comfortable sitting on TV every day versus going out and doing music and being able to do what I love.
"I'd probably, more so, take X Factor here [in the UK], because there's more opportunity. I love America, but when you're here you can jump from place to place.
"You're on X Factor one day, you're in Cannes, you're in Germany - there are so many different territories you can hop to and financial opportunities, as well as branding opportunities."
The 'Simply Amazing' singer also said that he's interested to see Nicki Minaj's judging style on American Idol, should she become a judge on the show as rumours suggest.
