Intruder Into LL Cool J's Home Could Face Life Imprisonment
Rapper Broke Intruder's Nose, Ribs + Jaw
A man apprehended by LL Cool J during a recent home invasion is now facing a sentence of life imprisonment, it has been reported.
Jonathan A. Kirby is alleged to have attempted a burglary at LL Cool J's Los Angeles mansion on Wednesday (August 22nd), but was physically detained by the rapper and had his nose, ribs and jaw broken.
According to TMZ, 56 year-old Kirby has now been charged with 1st degree burglary with a person present.
The L.A. County District Attorney has also charged Kirby as a "third strike offender" under a Los Angeles law that penalizes frequent offenders.
Under the "three strikes" law, Kirby now faces a maximum of 38 years to life in prison if he is found guilty and convicted for a third time.
LL Cool J, who currently stars on 'NCIS: Los Angeles', has yet to comment on the alleged incident.
