Noel Gallagher Insists He Could Not Perform At A Festival With Liam
He Wouldn't Play On The Same Day As His Brother
To the fans still holding out hope for an Oasis reunion - don't hold your breath. Noel Gallagher has said he would never play a festival on the same day his estranged brother, Liam, was on the bill.
Speaking to The Sun, Noel has said that neither his or his brother's camps would allow for that to happen. He told the tabloid: "What happens if we’re on the same bill? People start asking if we’re reforming, that's what. Or they’ll ask if we’re going to get on stage together and sing Digsy's fucking Dinner."
He added: "I don’t need that and I doubt he does either. I’d rather avoid it all together, thank you."
Beady Eye star Liam mocked his brother's band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds last week via Twitter, after Noel agreed to tour with Snow Patrol. Liam wrote:
"Snore patrol Noel Gallagher's High Flying Smurfs. Who said rock n roll is dead?"
