The track, which introduces her 'Goldenhearts' LP, is a hypnotising mix of lazy dubstep, electronica and elements of R&B, a fusion which Dawn confirmed was the overall vibe of her upcoming album. Her lyrics ooze remnants of a troubled relationship: ‘I didn’t know under could be so frightening, until love went dark/ lost the sun in your heart’, which coincide with the mysterious blend of musical genres, and the entrancing quality of Dawn’s voice to produce something quintessentially sultry and haunting.
