LIVE: Mac Miller @ Plan B, Brixton
Mac In Town!
Lucky Mac Miller fans were treated to an exclusive show earlier this week.
The rapper played Brixton's Plan B on Monday June 10th, for an intimate show to just 500 audience members.
Miller's second studio album, 'Watching Movies With The Sound Off', is due for release next week, and the star showcased previously unheard music from the upcoming LP and the new tracks definitely got the seal of approval from the crowd. Fans jumped up and down excitedly and nodded along to the music as we got a taste of what's to come from Miller's next project. The rapper's energy really got the audience excited as he gave 150% to every track and at one point he even showed off his skills on an electric guitar.
Miller also mixed it up from his usual performances by playing with a live band for the very first time. Odd Future band, The Internet, joined Miller on stage and definitely brought a different element from your average hip-hop gigs.
From what we heard of 'Watching Movies With The Sound Off', it seems as if Miller has certainly proved he's not a one-trick pony and is set to repeat the success of his debut LP 'Blue Slide Park'.
After we were treated to Miller's new tracks we also got to enjoy a second go round of his hit 'Donald Trump'. Fans went crazy for the encore of the track, leaving the night ending on real high.
