The Heavenly Scottish Star Hits The Stage
Emeli Sande blew the audience away when she hit the stage at Hammersmith Apollo last night, April 9th.
Displaying her immence talent for all to see, Emeli let her voice shine without the use of theatrics or huge set designs.
The Scottish singer treated fans to trakcs from her best-selling album 'Our Version of Events'.
Dressed simply in a white blouse and black skirt, the show kicked off with her debut 'Heaven', a superb introduction to the show.
'Where I Sleep', 'Breaking The Law' and 'Suitcase' from the album were all played, before we were treated to several new numbers throughout the gig.
One song, written about the 2011 riots, called 'The Half of It', hinted that Emeli's second album is set to be as huge as her debut.
Emeli then took to the piano for 'Clown' and 'River' before she finished her set with 'Read All About It', 'Beneath Your Beautiful' and 'Daddy', concluding with an encore of 'Mountains' and 'Next to Me'.
The past 18 months have been hugley successful for Emeli Sande and this performance just proved that she deserves it all.
