COMPETITION: Meet James Morrison Backstage at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

Watch the gig then meet the man!

Following the release of James Morrison’s 3rd album, 'The Awakening', we’re giving you and a friend the opportunity to be at his sold-out O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire performance. Oh, and guess what? You’ll get to meet James too!

Morrison’s third album, released on Island Records earlier in September, was produced by Bernard Butler and recorded at Konk Studios in London. It follows the huge global success of his previous two albums, which, together, have sold more than 4.5 million copies worldwide.

Speaking of his new album, Morrison said: “For me this album combines influences stemming from my deep love for classic soul – Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding – with a sound that is contemporary.“

"Making the album coincided with some very big changes in my life and I think it’s very evident from the music that this is the album I not only wanted to make but that I actually had to make right now”.

'The Awakening' also includes an amazing collaboration with Jessie J on the track 'Up', which will be released on 5 December. You can check it out in the video on the side of our beautifully crafted webpage. Look, now.

Morrison’s 2006 debut album 'Undiscovered' topped the UK album chart while the 2008 follow-up album 'Songs For You, Truths For Me', which included 'Broken Strings', a collaboration with Nelly Furtado, sold in excess of 1.5 million copies.

So after all this, if you fancy seeing and meeting the man himself, enter here!
